Cycloop Device
How is Cycloop different from other trackers? Theft deterrent. Installed on the frame of your bike, Cycloop acts as an effective thief deterrent. The GPS anti-theft tracker will alert you as soon as it is tampered with.
LED lighting. It’s not only about the bike’s security. It’s also about you. Cycloop doubles as a lighting accessory at night, making you more visible to the surrounding traffic.
DIY system. Almost no technical knowledge is required from you! You will not need to do any wiring, or have any special tools. All you need to do is setup your device using the Cyclooptracker app and attach it to your bike.

You do not need to change batteries every 2 weeks. Cycloop’s rechargeable batteries last up to 12 months without the side LED’s on, and up to 3 months with side LED’s on for an average Key Fob battery lasts up to 12 months.
Cycloop has an international eSIM card inside that works in many countries.
Cycloop doesn’t drain your e-bike’s battery. It is not connected to any external power supply.

Device calls your mobile phone in one minute to notify you of unauthorized bike use. You will be notified immediately, compared to other trackers that just send text messages or emails, which nowadays can be left ignored. A phone call is rarely left unanswered!

Can the Cycloop be fitted to all bicycles? Cycloop is intended to be attached to one of your bicycle’s frame tubes but because there are so many different types of bicycles and frames Cycloop might not fit your bike. Cycloop will only fit circular or oval shaped bicycle tubes with a diameter between 25mm to 37mm, anything outside of this range or a different shape will not fit. There are 2 insertable sizing rubbers included for adjustment. Please make sure to measure and check your bicycle’s possible installation locations before deciding to purchase Cycloop. Can I use multiple Devices with a single phone? Yes! You can have as many devices as you want, and all of them can be paired with the same smartphone. All of your devices will appear in one list in the Cyclooptracker App.
Can I lend my Cycloop-equipped bike to a friend? You can do that. You have several options here: 1. If you want to lend your bicycle and want it to remain protected, give your Cycloop-equipped bicycle and the Cycloop Key Fob to a friend. This way, the bicycle remains protected. If an alarm is activated, you will receive a call and push notifications to your phone. 2. If you only give your Cycloop-equipped vehicle to a friend without a Key Fob – you can send Cyclooptracker to snooz for up to , however, it will not remain protected for 24 hours, as it will not register any movement. After the snooz period passes, the device will return to its Armed state. 3. If you give your Cycloop-equipped vehicle to a friend without the Key Fob, you will constantly get locations in 5min periods until there is a movement.
Will Cycloop sound an alarm? Cycloop will only notify you that your bicycle is moving. It will not sound any alarm, block any mechanical parts of your bicycle or give itself away in any other way.
Is Cycloop water resistant? Yes, Cycloop and the Key Fob both meet IP65 standards, meaning they are protected from dust and against low-pressure water jets, such as a faucet. That should be more than enough for regular usage.
Can I use Cycloop for a real time tracking? Cycloop is not a ‘real time’ tracking device. It does not have a constant connection with the LTE network and is not constantly sending its location. Cycloop connects to the LTE network and sends locations only when Alarm mode is triggered. This helps to considerably save battery life.
Is it easy for a thief to simply remove or destroy the tracking module It mounts via special lock mechanism and cannot be easily removed. Cycloop is damage resistant and will alert you if it is tampered with.
Cycloop Key Fob
What is Cycloop Key Fob? The Key Fob is a small device that comes with the Cycloop set. When the Key Fob is not present near the bicycle, any sufficient movement or vibration activates the Alarm mode in Cycloop. You can add up to 3 Key Fobs to each Cycloop device. If you happen to have more than one Cycloop, same Key Fob can be used with multiple devices.
Two Cycloop devices - one Key Fob? You can pair one Key Fob to as many Cycloop units as you like.
SIM Card
Are there any fees I need to pay after purchase? There is no compulsory subscription. We only take an annual fee of £36 for GSM connectivity. This is billed annually and payment is conducted via the Cyclooptracker App.
How do I pay for Cycloop SIM card / cellular service? You will receive two notifications before the end of the free service period (which is 2 months). When service time expires – you will be able to renew your account from the Cyclooptracker App.
Can I use my own SIM card in Cycloop device? No. Cycloop has an embedded eSIM card. It can not be replaced by your own SIM card.
Batteries
What kind of batteries Cycloop device use Cycloop comes with a 3.7V Li-Polymer (1930mAh) rechargeable battery. This battery is not meant to be replaced, do not attempt to disassemble Cycloop and remove the battery. The Cycloop Key Fob is powered by a 3V Lithium CR2032 battery. These coin batteries are easily found in most convenience stores or photo equipment stores.
What affects the battery life? How can I save battery power? Alarm Mode is the main factor that drains the battery. With this in mind – you don’t want to have many false alarms. In other words, avoid moving the Cycloop when the Key Fob is away. The operation time will vary depending on usage of the device. Each full charge will give a maximum 1500 locations with LED sidelights on for a daily 2 hr. ride. We reccomend to use default automatic LED lights swithing from light sensor.
How do I know if my Cycloop's battery is empty? You should be notified with a push notification when Cycloop battery level falls below 20%. Do not wait until it is completely empty and charge it when the notification is received. Easiest way to get most recent battery level is to connect to Device via app in Settings tab being within Bluetooth distance to the device. Once you connect – battery is checked and the latest level in is shown.
How long will Cycloop work in Alarm mode? Depends what was the battery level was before. With fully charged you may expect up to 1500 locations 5 min intervals or several days of tracking.
How long does it take to fully charge the battery? A full charge of the Cycloop battery takes 2 hours.
How often do I have to charge my Cycloop? Cycloop battery can last up to 12 months w/o side LEDs, up to 3 months with side LEDs on for average TBD.
Cyclooptracker APP
Cyclooptracker APP and Cycloop tracker Cycloop tracker is created, developed and distributed by Cyclooptracker UAB. Cyclooptracker APP is necessary while using Cycloop device. With Cyclooptracker APP you will be able to setup your devices, manage eSIM subscription, easily contact support and track your bicycle’s location.
Which smartphones can be used with Cycloop? Cycloop can be used with iOS 14 or Android 8.0 phones and all subsequent operating systems. Android phones must have access to Google play store. Your smartphone must also have Bluetooth 4.0+ (BLE) functionality, as the connection between your phone and Cycloop uses this technology.
What languages are your App and notifications available in? Currently all the push notifications and events are available in English, Italian, French, Spanish, Japanese and German. More languages will be introduced in the future.
Can I receive notifications to multiple phones? Yes, that is possible. You can receive push notifications (but not calls) to as many phones as you like. All you need to do is simply login with the same account (your phone number/email that you used to setup Cycloop for the first time is your account ID).
Should I keep Bluetooth always ON on my phone? Cycloop device utilizes Bluetooth only for initial pairing and for adjusting settings. Therefore, it is up to you whether you want to keep Bluetooth on or off. Bluetooth 4.0 is low power technology, and it does not have a significant affect on your phone’s battery, when in standby.
Payment and Subscription
You can pay the annual GSM connectivity fee directly through the Cyclooptracker app using a credit or debit card. The payment is processed securely, and you will receive a confirmation email once the transaction is complete.
Your subscription is set to auto-renew by default, ensuring your Cycloop remains protected without interruption. You can manage or cancel the auto-renewal at any time from the app settings. If you choose to cancel, your device will remain active until the end of the current billing period, but after that it will lose connectivity until the fee is paid again.

Installation and Setup
Setting up Cycloop is straightforward and does not require any special tools. First, download the Cyclooptracker app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and create an account. Then, fully charge the Cycloop device using the included USB cable until the LED indicator turns solid green.
Next, pair the Key Fob by pressing its button once and holding it close to the device. The app will guide you through the pairing process. Once paired, you can attach Cycloop to your bike frame. Choose a circular or oval tube with a diameter between 25mm and 37mm. If needed, use the insertable sizing rubbers for a snug fit.
After mounting, the device will automatically activate its international eSIM. Make sure your phone’s Bluetooth is on, and test the system by walking away with the Key Fob—Cycloop should recognise the Key Fob is absent and be ready to alert you of movement.
Troubleshooting Common Issues
If your Cycloop does not seem to be working correctly, first ensure the device and Key Fob are fully charged. Low batteries can prevent proper communication. Also check that the Cyclooptracker app is updated to the latest version and that your phone’s Bluetooth and internet connection are enabled.
Should you receive false alerts, confirm that the Key Fob battery is not depleted and that it is within Bluetooth range when you approach the bike. In the app, you can adjust the sensitivity of the motion sensor if needed. If the device loses LTE connectivity, it may be in an area with poor network coverage; moving the bike to a different location can help.

Data Privacy and Security
Cycloop collects location data only when the alarm is triggered. This data is encrypted and sent securely to our servers to provide you with alerts. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. All data handling complies with UK and EU GDPR regulations.

Warranty and Support
Cycloop comes with a limited warranty that covers manufacturing defects. If you experience a hardware failure within the warranty period, contact our support team for a replacement or repair.
