Learn about Cycloop
How does it work?
1 Install the anti-theft system on your bicycle Install the Cycloop tracker on the seat tube of your bike. It mounts via special lock mechanism and cannot be easily removed. Cycloop is damage resistant and will alert you if it is tampered with.

2 Arm and disarm the anti-theft system with the Key Fob When Cycloop detects the Key Fob in its proximity, it will automatically disarm. As soon as you leave your bicycle behind, the Cycloop anti-theft GPS system will arm automatically.
3 See alerts and location tracking When bicycle moves without the Key Fob in proximity you’ll receive a phone call and will be able to track it’s location on the mobile app.
Free Mobile app
GPS location Cyclooptracker APP allows you to see your bicycle's location if it has been moved and your paired Key Fob was not around. You’ll also get a daily location update.

SIM subscription Manage your international eSIM subscription using Cyclooptracker APP. 2 months FREE service. After that, coverage costs a competitive €39/year.
Battery status Cyclooptracker APP offers a convenient way to monitor the battery of the Cycloop tracker. If the battery is low, it will notify you in advance.
Cycloop is compatible with
Tracker on frame with diameter 25-37 mm. Cycloop will only fit circular or oval shaped bicycle tubes with a diameter between 25 mm to 37 mm, anything outside of this range or a different shape will not fit. There are 2 insertable sizing rubbers included for adjustment.

Tracker on frame under the seat Cycloop tracker will fit your bicycle frame under the seat with diameter 25-37 mm. For safety purposes we DON'T recommend to use quick release seat in this case as the tracker would be removed easier.
Advanced Security Technology
Cycloop uses a combination of cutting‑edge technologies to keep your bicycle safe. At its core is a sensitive accelerometer that detects the slightest movement. When the bike is armed and the Key Fob is out of range, any motion triggers an instant alert to your smartphone. The built‑in GPS receiver provides precise location tracking, allowing you to see exactly where your bike is at any moment, even if it’s on the move. Cellular connectivity is handled by an embedded eSIM – no separate SIM card is needed. The eSIM is already activated and offers extensive coverage across Europe and beyond, so your tracker stays connected wherever you ride.
Tampering is a serious threat, and Cycloop is built to resist it. The unit is encased in a tough, impact‑resistant shell that can withstand attempts to break or remove it. If someone tries to force it off the frame, a tamper alert is sent immediately, and the integrated siren can be triggered to draw attention. Together, these layers of protection give you confidence that your bike is guarded around the clock.
- Motion‑activated alerts – Real‑time push notifications and phone calls when unauthorised movement is detected.
- GPS tracking – Accurate location updates, with daily status reports even when the bike is stationary.
- eSIM connectivity – Pre‑installed, works in over 30 European countries without roaming fees.
- Tamper detection – Immediate alert if the tracker is physically tampered with or removed.
Designed for European Cyclists
Cycloop was created with European riders in mind. The device complies with all relevant EU regulations, including the Radio Equipment Directive (RED) and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You can review our Declaration of Conformity for full technical and legal details. Data privacy is a top priority: your location information is encrypted and accessible only to you through the Cyclooptracker app, and we never sell or share your personal data.
The eSIM’s European coverage means you can travel from Lisbon to Helsinki without worrying about connectivity or extra charges. Whether you’re commuting in the city or touring through the countryside, Cycloop stays online to protect your bike. The subscription plan is simple and transparent – after the initial two‑month free period, a single annual fee covers all network usage across the supported countries. No hidden roaming fees, no extra sims, no hassle.
What’s in the Box
Every Cycloop comes with everything you need to get started right away. Inside the package you’ll find:
- The Cycloop GPS tracker unit
- One Key Fob (paired with your tracker)
- Mounting bracket and four tamper‑proof screws
- Two CR123A batteries (pre‑installed in the tracker and key fob)
- Quick start guide
The batteries offer long‑lasting performance – the tracker’s battery is designed to last up to two years under normal use, and the Key Fob’s battery can last even longer. The Cyclooptracker app will notify you well before either needs replacing, so you’re never caught off guard.
Setting Up Your Cycloop
Getting your Cycloop up and running is straightforward. The physical installation takes only a few minutes, and the mobile app guides you through the pairing process step by step. Here’s how it works:
- Mount the tracker. Choose either the seat tube or under‑seat position. Use the included sizing rubbers if needed to ensure a snug fit on your frame (diameter between 25 mm and 37 mm). Tighten the four security screws – a special bit is provided to deter unauthorised removal.
- Download the Cyclooptracker app. Available for both iOS and Android, the app is free and requires no subscription to use. Create your account and follow the on‑screen instructions.
- Pair the Key Fob. The app will detect your Cycloop via Bluetooth and guide you to pair the Key Fob. Once paired, the fob becomes your personal disarm key. Keep it on your keyring, and Cycloop automatically disarms when you approach your bike.
- Activate eSIM. The eSIM comes pre‑installed but needs activation through the app. Your two‑month free service starts immediately. After that, you can continue the service with an annual subscription directly from the app.
Once configured, the system is fully automatic. Arm yourself with the Key Fob and ride; when you walk away, Cycloop arms itself. There are no buttons to press, no codes to remember.
Subscription and Service Details
Cycloop uses an international eSIM to provide world‑class connectivity without the complexity of traditional SIM cards. The included two months of free service give you ample time to experience the full protection of your tracker. After the trial, continued coverage is just €39 per year – less than the cost of a single coffee each month. This fee covers all data usage, unlimited alerts, and full access to the Cyclooptracker app’s features, including GPS tracking and location history.
Managing your subscription is effortless: the Cyclooptracker app shows your service status, and you can renew with a single tap. If you ever decide not to continue, the tracker will stop transmitting cellular data, but you can still use the Key Fob for local disarming. The eSIM remains in place, ready if you reactivate later. No contracts, no cancellation fees – just straightforward protection. For more details on the subscription programme, visit our Affiliate Area or reach out to us through the Contact us (Europe) page.
Durability and Weather Resistance
Your bike faces rain, mud, dust, and temperature swings, and Cycloop is built to handle them all. The tracker is rated IP67, meaning it is completely dust‑tight and can withstand temporary immersion in water. Whether you’re caught in a downpour or washing your bike, Cycloop keeps working. The robust housing also protects against shocks and vibrations, so even rough trails won’t affect its performance.
The internal electronics are sealed and tested to operate in temperatures from -20°C to +60°C, covering everything from freezing winter commutes to scorching summer days. And because the tracker is mounted firmly against the frame, it doesn’t rattle or shift. If you have specific questions about mounting on carbon frames or unique geometries, we recommend checking our FAQ (Europe) page for detailed guidance.
